Our story
At Crafted Earth Studios, we believe creativity has the power to shape confident, connected, and meaningful lives. We are a place where people with learning disabilities are recognised, valued, and celebrated as skilled makers, with their talent and contribution at the forefront of everything we do.
As part of Minstead Trust, our purpose is to elevate the creative work of the people we support at New Forest Day Opportunities.
Through high-quality workshops and shared studio spaces, individuals develop skills, explore their ideas, and grow in confidence as makers, supported by experienced craft instructors who bring professional knowledge and uphold the high standards that define Crafted Earth Studios. Creativity is valued not only for the finished piece, but for its role in communication, wellbeing, and personal growth.
By uniting our workshops under one shared identity, we raise the profile of the work created and create opportunities for exhibitions, sales, and wider participation. Sharing this work with the public and partners challenges perceptions of what a day opportunity can be, showing that purposeful activity builds confidence, independence, and a genuine sense of belonging.
Through connection, collaboration, and community support, we are committed to sustaining and growing our craft programme, ensuring creativity remains central to the lives of the people we support.
